Clarence is an executive coach, leadership development strategist and trainer with a passion for helping leaders face their most difficult challenges and move toward their highest aspirations. With nearly 25 years of consulting and management experience, Clarence has coached and trained thousands of leaders across industries, including lodging and hospitality, technology consulting, government, health care, non-profit, publishing, and construction. Clarence’s extensive leadership development experience has included designing and directing award-winning programs for Marriott International, MITRE Corporation, Kaiser Permanente, and The American Red Cross. In his work as an executive coach, Clarence partners with his clients to identify and address their most pressing challenges and opportunities as leaders; build self-awareness and examine the assumptions underlying established patterns of action; and develop new skills and approaches in critical areas, including leadership style, building effective working relationships, leading successful teams, managing conflict, and clarifying purpose and direction. He possesses a keen ability to discern themes, provide perspective, and cut to the heart of the matter in his coaching, balancing learning with a bias for action and change. In addition to his skills as an executive coach, Clarence is an accomplished leadership strategist and a dynamic, engaging, and effective trainer. Clarence holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Development from George Washington University and certification in numerous assessment tools, including The Leadership Circle, Hogan Assessments, Denison Culture & Leadership Surveys, The Extraordinary Leader, and the MBTI. He is also an ICF certified executive coach.
